Who we are

Seattle Theaterwala is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sociocultural interaction and awareness through the creative medium of theater.

 

Seattle Theaterwala is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purpose, including, for such purposes, making of distribution to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under Section 501(c) (3) of Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

 

Where are here:

  1. To create awareness towards social issues while maintaining a complete apolitical stance.

  2. To expose the western diaspora to the various Indian theatrical forms.

  3. To integrate the ideas taken from across the globe, thereby promoting cultural fusion via art of theater.

  4. To support and encourage different philanthropic organizations through fund-raising efforts.

  5. To stage productions and help raise awareness towards theatre-related charities and organizations.

  6. To offer theatre artists of all backgrounds and skill-levels the opportunity to work together.

  7. To make the general public gain an increased appreciation for the diversity of the performing arts.

  8. To educate and attract the younger generation through workshops.

  9. To innovate by engineering new ways to approach our productions, thereby increasing the entertainment value.

  10. To sustain our organization by constantly experimenting and catering to public demand.

  11. To develop and support a strong community of theater-lovers.
